Socious' New Product: Verifiable Educational Credentials

Socious is excited to announce the launch of verifiable educational credentials — a new capability allowing educational institutions to issue digital certificates that are both verifiable and resistant to tampering. Students and graduates can now receive diplomas, degrees, and educational credentials in digital format for sharing with employers and academic institutions.

How It Works

The system operates through four key components:

1. Issuance: Institutions issue encoded digital certificates upon course completion, ensuring authenticity.

2. Secure Storage: Certificates are securely stored in the Socious Wallet via iOS or Android apps, using zero-knowledge proofs to share only essential information while maintaining user privacy control.

3. Sharing: Users can share credentials through a secure process with employers and institutions.

4. Verification: Recipients can verify credentials through Socious to confirm educational legitimacy.

This is an evolution of our existing work credentials verification feature.
