Kumamoto Prefecture Has Chosen Socious to Assist with Volunteer Matching

Socious was chosen for the UX Acceleration Program hosted by Kumamoto Prefecture. In collaboration with Kumamoto Nichi-Nichi Shimbun, the organization will support volunteer matching throughout the prefecture.

Nonprofit organizations in the region face challenges recruiting volunteers. Socious plans to conduct demonstration experiments visualizing volunteer contributions using Cardano blockchain technology, aiming to create new business opportunities and revitalize the local economy.

Socious operates an SDG talent-matching application with the mission to “provide everyone with opportunities to change the world.” The platform connects purpose-driven individuals with SDG projects — including impact startups, social businesses, nonprofits, public organizations, and corporate CSR initiatives — using AI matching. The company leverages Cardano blockchain to ensure transparency and credibility in SDG actions.
